‘Open House’ on March 2nd 2025 to ‘spread awareness’ about ‘Freemasonry’

Punekars have a chance to know more about Freemasonry, a close-knit community. An ‘Open House’ will be held on Sunday March 2nd at the Freemasons Hall, 9 Exhibition Road, near Pune Race Course, Pune Camp for the public and the entry is free.

The Open House, to be held between 10 AM and 2 PM, is organized by The Leslie Wilson Lodge No 4480 EC, the Pune chapter, under the aegis of the United Grand Lodge of England. Introductory presentations on Freemasonry are scheduled at 10.30 AM and 12.30 PM on the same day.

“We are conducting the Open House to spread awareness about Freemasonry. The general public can take a physical tour of the premises and understand what Freemasonry is about and its symbolism. They will also be able to know about its relevance in the modern times,” VWBro. Devesh Hingorani, Dy. District Grand Master said.

An Eye check-up camp will also be held on the same day for Masons, their families and the general public. Entry for the Open House and Eye check-up camp is free for all.” VWBro. Devesh Hingorani added.

The Leslie Wilson Lodge was consecrated on November 3, 1926 and named to honour H.E. Sir Leslie Orme Wilson the then Governor of Bombay province.
