Students from Municipal Corporation Schools Experience the Unique World of Robotics at the FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship

Pune: The FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship 2024-25, India’s largest robotics competition for school and junior college students, presented by Vishwakarma University Pune, is currently underway with great enthusiasm at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. On this day, approximately 1,500 students from the Vidya Niketan Schools under the Pune Municipal Corporation had a unique opportunity to experience the world of robotics firsthand.

The FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship 2024-25 features participation from over 60 cities across India, as well as 6 international teams from Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, and the UAE. To experience this unique world of robotics, the students from the Vidya Niketan Schools were able to witness live robotics matches, where top teams from across the country competed in high-energy, strategic games.

In addition to the exciting matches, the students had the chance to explore various innovations showcased by the participating teams. They gained insights into robotics, automation, and problem-solving technologies. The technical skills, teamwork, and creativity displayed at the event deeply impressed the students, sparking enthusiasm for robotics and the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. This experience ignited a fresh inspiration among the students for their future career paths.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, refreshments were provided to all students and teachers, courtesy of ICIT and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The students thoroughly enjoyed their time at the championship, making it an educational, engaging, and inspiring event.

The FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship continues to be an innovative platform that allows young minds to enter the world of robotics and innovation, fostering future leaders in technology.
