Pune. To boost voter turnout in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, MIT Art, Design, and Technology University, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme Department (NSS), recently conducted a voting awareness rally in Pune. Hundreds of university students participated in the initiative, holding posters and banners at Pune Railway Station and prominent locations across the city, encouraging citizens to exercise their right to vote.
The students’ initiative was met with enthusiasm from the public, who promised to participate in the elections without skipping for holidays. This rally was held under the guidance of the University’s Vice Chancellor and Executive President, Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive Director Prof. Dr. Sunita Karad, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Ramchandra Pujeri, Dr. Mohit Dubey, Registrar Dr. Mahesh Chopde, and Dr. Rajnish Kaur Sachdev. The awareness rally was led by Vishal Patil and Prof. Aman Kamble.
